ACCELERATED LEADERSHIP FOR YOUNG TALENTS (TALENT X)
&
EMERGING MANAGEMENT DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME (EMDP)
•
Accelerated Leadership for Young Talents
(Talent X) dan
Emerging Management
Development Programme
(EMDP) merupakan
satu programpembangunan yangmenekankan
aspek kepimpinan dan kemahiran pengurusan.
Sasaran peserta Program Talent X adalah
pegawai yang berpotensi tinggi dan sedang
menjawat jawatan di Gred 41/44 daripada
pelbagai skim perkhidmatan yang mendapat
perakuan Ketua Jabatan. Manakala sasaran
bagi Program EMDP adalah pegawai berpotensi
tinggi yang sedang menjawat jawatan di Gred
48/52 daripada pelbagai skim perkhidmatan
yang diperakukan oleh Ketua Jabatan. Fokus
utama kedua-dua program ini adalah selari
dengan aspirasi transformasi pembangunan
sumber manusia Perkhidmatan Awam
seperti yang digariskan dalam Kerangka Kerja
Transformasi Strategik Jabatan Perkhidmatan
Awam (JPA) iaitu:
i) Mendaya-upaya
Meningkatkan
kompetensi,
prestasi,
produktiviti dan daya inovasi Penjawat Awam
yang membawa kepada Keberhasilan Strategik
1 iaitu Penjawat Awam yang bertenaga,
berilmu, berwibawa, kompeten, inovatif dan
produktif; dan
ii) Keterangkuman
Memperluas jaringan kerja dan kolaborasi
strategik
(Multiple-Helix)
dalam dan luar
negara yang membawa kepada Keberhasilan
Strategik 4 iaitu keputusan bersama
(informed
decision)
dan rasa sepunya berdasarkan
kepelbagaian perspektif.
• Accelerated Leadership for Young Talents
(Talent X) and the Emerging Management
Development Program(EMDP) is adevelopment
program that emphasises on leadership and
management skills. The target audience
of the Talent X Program are high-potential
officers currently of Grade 41/44 from various
service schemes approved by their Head of
Department whereas the target for the EMDP
Program are high potential officers currently
of Grade 48/52 from various service schemes
approved by their Head of Department. The
focus of both programs is in line with the
Public Service human resource development
transformation aspiration as outlined in the
Strategic Transformation Framework of the
Public Service Department namely:
i) Empowerment
Enhance
competence,
achievement,
productivity and innovation of Public
Servants leading to Strategic Achievement
1 namely Public Servants who is energetic,
knowledgeable, authoritative, competent,
innovative and productive; and
ii) Inclusiveness
Extend the network and strategic collaboration
(Multiple-Helix) within and outside the country
that leads to Strategic Achievement 4 namely
informed decision and common sense based
on diversity of perspectives.
