perspektif Rakyat dalam membuat dasar dan

penyampaian perkhidmatan Kerajaan. Hubungan

Rakyat dengan Penjawat Awam akan bertambah

baik dan lancar apabila terdapat perasaan saling

hormat menghormati dan dengan adanya

pertimbangan antara pihak-pihak yang terlibat

dalam mencapai tujuan yang sama.

High quality leadership

adalah kritikal dalam

Kementerian/Agensi Kerajaan bagi mencapai

kecemerlangan perkhidmatan. Penjawat Awam

digalakkan untuk terus berusaha menerapkan nilai-

nilai murni kepada Rakyat melalui perkhidmatan

yang disampaikan. Saya selalu mengingatkan

para Penjawat Awam di pelbagai peringkat

untuk memahami peranan yang dimainkan

di Kementerian/Jabatan masing-masing dan

perlu ada perasaan

personal ownership

dalam

memberikan perkhidmatan yang terbaik.

“The Ministries / Government Agencies are becoming

more people-centric by incorporating the people’s

thoughts and perspectives in policy making and in

the delivery of services. The relationship between the

Rakyat and Public Servants will improve and thrive

when there is mutual respect and understanding

between them as they march towards the same

goals.

High quality leadership is critical in Ministries /

Government Agencies to attain service excellence.

Public Officers are encouraged to continuously

endeavour in incorporating moral values into the

services provided to the Rakyat. I always remind all

the Public Officers of various levels to understand the

roles of their respective Ministry / Department and to

have a sense of personal ownership in providing the

best service.”
