Certainly, the Public Service has a critical role in
driving economic growth through an efficient and
effective governance system. The Public Service
needs to be constantly agile as it invents creative
improvements to ensure continuous increment
in productivity in the public sector. The National
Blue Ocean Strategy (NBOS) approach and the
National Transformation 2050 agenda (TN50)
has provided a holistic and inclusive fresh air to
chart the nation’s strategic planning and vision
for the next 30 years. Of course, the landscape of
the Public Servants’ mind needs to be completely
transformed to facemegatrends and the Industrial
Revolution 4.0 challenges.
Sememangnya, Perkhidmatan Awam mempunyai
peranan penting memacu pertumbuhan ekonomi
melaluisistemtadbirurusyangcekapdanberkesan.
Perkhidmatan Awam perlu sentiasa bergerak
pantas dan mencipta ruang penambahbaikan
secara kreatif bagi memastikan peningkatan
produktiviti di sektor awam. Pendekatan Strategi
Lautan Biru Kebangsaan (NBOS) dan gagasan
Transformasi Nasional 2050 (TN50) telah
memberikan nafas baharu yang bersifat holistik
dan inklusif bagi memeta perancangan dan visi
strategik negara bagi tempoh 30 tahun.
