Jabatan Perkhidmatan Awam (JPA) telah
mencalonkan aplikasi JPA4U Mobile untuk
menyertai Global MobileGov Awards 2017. Global
MobileGov Awards merupakan acara tahunan di
peringkat antarabangsa yang bertujuan untuk
mempromosi dan memberi mengiktiraf kepada
penghasilan, pelaksanaan dan pengembangan
teknologi aplikasi mudah alih terkini.
Pemilihan aplikasi JPA4U Mobile adalah
berdasarkan kepada pelbagai kriteria merangkumi
impak, penggunaan, adaptasi, milestone,
ketersampaian, kewangan, teknikal, keselamatan
dan kebolehgunaan yang memenuhi keperluan
syarat penyertaan tersebut. Selepas mengharungi
dua (2) peringkat pemilihan bersama 106
pencalonan yang diterima dari seluruh dunia,
Aplikasi JPA4U Mobile telah terpilih untuk
menerima
Special Recognition Award.
Di majlis penganugerahan yang telah berlangsung
pada 9 Mei 2017 di Jurys Inn, Brighton, United
Kingdom, YBrs. Encik Mohd Danial bin Ma’alip,
Pengarah
Bahagian
Pembangunan
dan
Pengurusan Maklumat Strategik (BPMS) telah
mewakili pihak JPA untuk menerima anugerah
tersebut dari Dr. Ibrahim Kushchu,
Founding
Director
MobileGov UK.
Penyertaan dan penganugerahan ini mampu
menjadi penanda aras bahawa aplikasi mudah
alih JPA diiktiraf di peringkat antarabangsa. Ia
juga merupakan pengiktirafan terhadap usaha
pegawai-pegawai BPMS dalam menghasilkan
satu medium komunikasi secara dua hala dan
mudah digunakan oleh Rakyat. Selain itu,
kejayaan ini menjadi inspirasi kepada JPA untuk
menghasilkan lebih banyak aplikasi mudah alih
yang mantap di masa akan datang serta menjadi
pemangkin dalam usaha JPA meningkatkan mutu
perkhidmatan kepada semua Penjawat Awam.
The Public Service Department had nominated the
JPA4U Mobile app for the Global MobileGov Awards
2017. The Global MobileGov Awards is an annual
international event to promote and recognise the
creation, implementation and expansion of the
latest mobile application technology.
The selection of JPA4U Mobile app was based on a
variety of criteria within the terms of participation
which included the impact, use, adaptation,
milestones, deliverables, financial, technical,
security and usability of the participating app.
After passing two selection stages along with 106
other nominations from around the world, the
JPA4U Mobile Application was selected to receive
a Special Recognition Award.
The awards ceremony was held on 9 May 2017
at The Jurys Inn, Brighton, United Kingdom,
where Mr. Mohd Danial bin Ma’alip, Director of
The Development & Management of Strategic
Information Division (BPMS) represented the JPA
to receive the award from Dr. Ibrahim Kushchu,
Founding Director of MobileGov UK.
The participation and award signified international
recognition for the app and the efforts of BPMS
officials in developing a user-friendly, two-
way communication medium for the Rakyat.
Additionally, the success is an inspiration to JPA to
develop better mobile applications in the future
to catalyse the JPA’s efforts to improve service
quality to Public Servants.
