Pada 21 Jun 2022, Bahagian Pencen dan Kumpulan Wang Persaraan (Diperbadankan) KWAP dengan kerjasama warga kerja Pejabat Setiausaha Kerajaan Negeri Perak telah menganjurkan Seminar Keluarga Pesara Kerajaan: Jalinan Mesra Pesara Bersama JPA dan KWAP di Dewan Bankuet, Pejabat Setiausaha Kerajaan Negeri Perak. Program ini dilaksanakan begi menyediakan platform kepada persatuan dan ahliahli persatuan di negeri Perak untuk berkongsi maklumat serta berdialog mengenai isu-isu terkini berkenaan persaraan. Program ini telah disertai seramai hampir 200 orang yang terdiri daripada barisan kepimpinan persatuan dan ahli-ahli aktif. Peserta yang hadir adalah daripada sembilan (9) badan persatuan pesara Kerajaan yang bergerak aktif di negeri Perak seperti Persatuan Pesara Kerajaan Malaysia, Kelab Pesara Kerajaan 1Malaysia (KUPEKMAS), Persatuan Pesara Polis dan lain-lain. Sesi ini diakhiri dengan sesi dialog peserta bersama pihak pengurusan tertinggi JPA iaitu Timbalan Ketua Pengarah Perkhidmatan Awam (Operasi), YBhg. Dato’ Zainal Azman bin Abu Seman dan Pengarah Bahagian Pencen, YBhg. Dato’ Mohd Shaiful bin Ibrahim. YBrs. Puan Halizah binti Sipon, Timbalan Setiausaha Kerajaan (Pembangunan) Pejabat Setiausaha Kerajaan Negeri Perak turut hadir menjayakan program ini. Sesi perkongsian maklumat kepada ahli persatuan pesara adalah berkenaan dasar persaraan selepas bersara contohnya isu perkahwinan dalam tempoh persaraan, kepentingan mengemaskini maklumat pesara, urusan pertukaran akaun bank, pembayaran pencen bulanan kepada pesara/ penerima pencen yang uzur/ terlantar, perkongsian isu scam/ penipuan dan lain-lain lagi. Pesara yang hadir turut berpeluang mendapatkan khidmat nasihat secara bersemuka dengan para petugas di kaunter JPA dan KWAP serta khidmat menggantikan kad pesara yang telah hilang mahupun rosak. On 21 June 2022, the Pension Division and Retirement Fund (Incorporated) Division of KWAP in collaboration with the employees of the Perak State Government Secretary's Office organised a Government Retirees Family Seminar: Building a Friendly Bond with Retirees Seminar with PSD and KWAP at the Banquet Hall of the Perak State Secretary Office. This programme was implemented to provide a platform for associations and association members in the state of Perak to share information and have a dialogue with the government about latest issues regarding retirement. The programme was attended by almost 200 participants consisting of the association's leaders and active members. The participants who attended were from nine (9) Government pensioners associations active in the state of Perak such as the Malaysian Government Pensioners Association, the 1Malaysia Government Pensioners Club (KUPEKMAS), the Police Pensioners Association and others. This session ended with a dialogue session between the participants and the top management of PSD, namely the Deputy Director-General of Public Services (Operations), YBhg. Dato' Zainal Azman bin Abu Seman and Director of the Pension Division, YBhg. Dato' Mohd Shaiful bin Ibrahim. YBrs. Puan Halizah binti Sipon, Deputy Government Secretary (Development) of the Perak State Government Secretary Office was also present in this programme. The information sharing session for members of the pensioner association was about the retirement policy during retirement, for example the issue of marriage during the retirement period, the importance of updating the pensioner’s information, bank account exchange matters, monthly pension payments to retirees/ infirm/ helpless pensioners, sharing about scams/ fraud issues and others. The retirees who attended also had the opportunity to obtain face-to-face advice from the staff of PSD and KWAP as well as a service to replace lost or damaged retiree cards.
