Lawatan Naziran ke Pos Maritim Felda Sahabat, Lahad Datu, Sabah telah diadakan pada 23 November 2022 bertujuan untuk mendapatkan gambaran sebenar dan lebih jelas mengenai keadaan fasiliti di Pos Maritim bagi tujuan pemanjangan Bayaran Insentif Mengikut Lokasi Tahap Kesusahan (BIMLTK) dan Elaun Balik Kampung (EBK). Hasil lawatan ini juga dijadikan input kepada kertas pertimbangan yang akan disediakan untuk diangkat kepada Pengurusan Tertinggi Jabatan Perkhidmatan Awam (JPA). Sesi lawatan ini turut dihadiri oleh wakil-wakil dari Kementerian Dalam Negeri (KDN) dan Agensi Penguatkuasaan Maritim Malaysia (APMM). Selain itu, lawatan ini juga diadakan bagi membuat pengesahan maklumat melalui Borang Instrumen Penentuan Kategori Pedalaman yang melibatkan maklumat jarak serta mod pengangkutan dari bandar terdekat ke fasiliti, kemudahan awam di fasiliti dan juga kuarters pegawai. Ini bagi memastikan pelaksanaan pembayaran kriteria pembayaran BIMLTK dan EBK adalah teratur dan masih relevan dengan keadaan fasiliti dan lokasi di kawasan pedalaman. Sepanjang sesi tersebut, pihak APMM telah memberi taklimat ringkas mengenai perjawatan serta tugas-tugas yang dilaksanakan oleh pegawai APMM yang bertugas di Pos Maritim Felda Sahabat. Selain itu, delegasi JPA dan KDN juga telah dibawa untuk meninjau dengan lebih dekat keadaan fasiliti terutamanya ruang pejabat dan kuarters pegawai APMM. An inspectorate visit to the Felda Sahabat Maritime Post in Lahad Datu, Sabah, was conducted on 23 November 2022, with the aim of obtaining a real and clearer understanding of the facility's conditions at the Maritime Post for the purpose of extending the Hardship Location-Based Incentive Payment BIMLTK and EBK. The results of this visit will also serve as input for a proposal paper to be presented to the highest management of the Public Service Department (PSD). The visit was attended by representatives from the Ministry of Home Affairs (MOHA) and the Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (APMM). Furthermore, this visit was also conducted to verify information using the Rural Category Determination Instrument Form, which involved distance information and mode of transportation from the nearest town to the facility, public amenities at the facility, and officer quarters. This is to ensure that the implementation of BIMLTK and EBK payment criteria is organised and remained relevant to the facility and location in the rural areas. During the session, APMM provided a short briefing on the appointments and duties performed by APMM officers stationed at the Felda Sahabat Maritime Post. In addition, the PSD and MOHA delegation were also taken to closely observe the facility's conditions, especially the office space and APMM officer quarters.
