Majlis Perdana Perkhidmatan Awam (MAPPA) mula diperkenalkan sejak tahun 2000 sebagai salah satu platform untuk seluruh penjawat awam menghayati aspirasi dan hasrat pucuk kepimpinan tertinggi Negara melalui amanat yang disampaikan oleh YAB Perdana Menteri. MAPPA Kelapan Belas yang bertemakan “Penjawat Awam Tonggak Aspirasi Keluarga Malaysia” telah berlangsung pada 30 Ogos 2022 di Dewan Plenari, Pusat Konvensyen Antarabangsa Putrajaya (PICC). MAPPA XVIII 2022 menyaksikan kehadiran penjawat awam dari pelbagai skim perkhidmatan, wakil Kesatuan Sekerja dan wakil pesara secara fizikal dan secara dalam talian bagi mendengar amanat dari YAB Dato’ Sri Ismail Sabri bin Yaakob, Perdana Menteri. Dalam majlis tersebut, YAB Perdana Menteri telah mengumumkan beberapa inisiatif yang turut dinikmati oleh penjawat awam antaranya: ì Pertama: Menaikkan kadar maksimum jumlah cuti rehat yang boleh dikumpulkan bagi tujuan award wang tunai (GCR) daripada 160 hari ke-180 hari. ì Kedua: Tambahan Kadar Cuti Rehat Khas sebanyak 5 hari menjadikan jumlah Cuti Rehat Khas 15 hari setahun kepada Pegawai Perkhidmatan Pendidikan yang telah berkhidmat melebihi 10 tahun. ì K etiga: Perluasan tafsiran ahli keluarga bagi kemudahan Cuti Tanpa Rekod Bagi Urusan Kematian Ahli Keluarga Terdekat yang melibatkan adik-beradik, nenek dan datuk bagi penjawat awam. The Public Service Premier Event (MAPPA) was introduced in 2000 as one of the platforms for all civil servants to internalise the aspirations and desires of the highest leadership of the nation through the mandate delivered by YAB Prime Minister. The Eighteenth MAPPA, themed "Civil Servants as the Pillar of Keluarga Malaysia Aspirations," took place on 30 August 2022, at the Plenary Hall, Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC). MAPPA XVIII 2022 saw the presence of civil servants from various service schemes, labor union representatives, and retiree representatives both physically and online to hear the address from YAB Dato’ Sri Ismail Sabri bin Yaakob, the Prime Minister. In the event, the Prime Minister announced several initiatives that would benefit civil servants, including: ì F irst: Raising the maximum accumulation of annual leave eligible for cash awards (GCR) from 160 days to 180 days. ì S econd: Increasing the Special Annual Leave quota by 5 days, making it a total of 15 days per year for Education Service Officers who have served for more than 10 years. ì T hird: Expanding the definition of "Cuti Tanpa Rekod Bagi Urusan Kematian Ahli Keluarga Terdekat" for the handling of the closest family member's death, including siblings, grandparents, and granduncles/ aunts, for civil servants.
