Circular Letter PSD(S)63/163 Klt.6 (7) – Claiming Allowance for Moving from Rented/ Self-Owned/ Accommodation to a House Purchased through Government Housing Loan Scheme and Moving House Due to Unforseen Circumstances The government has decided that the Division Heads may consider and approve claims for the relocation allowance for moving to a house purchased through the government housing loan scheme or for moving due to uncontrollable circumstances without being subject to the condition of moving within the same station or within a radius of 33 kilometers from the place of duty, as stipulated in Service Circular Letter Number 10 of 1989, which has been rescinded by this circular. This decision will be effective from 1 July 2022. 9. Circular Letter PSD.(S).800-1/1/13 (7) Improvement of Special Housing Allowance Payment In an effort to improve the existing regulations regarding Government Quarters and in line with the government's intent to focus on the welfare and wellbeing of civil servants, it has been decided that the requirement "not renting one's own house" will be abolished. This decision is also aimed at encouraging citizens, including civil servants, to own their own homes. The removal of the requirement "not renting one's own house" will be effective from 1 July 2022. 10. Circular Letter PSD(S)63/75 Vol. 7 (12) Improvement of the Hostel Warden Portfolio at Various Schools under the Ministry of Education Malaysia The government has approved a 25% increase in the Hostel Warden Allowance (HWA) rate for Hostel Wardens. The new HWA rates are RM350.00 for Chief Hostel Wardens and RM300.00 for Hostel Wardens. The increase in the new HWA rates takes into account the additional responsibilities and is in line with the improved new norms for Hostel Wardens, as well as the implementation of the Hostel Warden duty rotation system. These new rates are effective from 1 August 2022. 8. Surat Edaran JPA(S)63/163 Klt.6 (7) – Tuntutan Elaun Berpindah Dari Rumah Sewa/ Sendiri/ Tumpangan Ke Rumah Yang Dibeli Melalui Skim Pinjaman Perumahan Kerajaan Dan Berpindah Rumah Atas Keadaan Di Luar Kawalan Kerajaan telah memutuskan bahawa Ketua Jabatan boleh menimbang dan meluluskan tuntutan elaun berpindah rumah kerana berpindah ke rumah yang dibeli melalui skim pinjaman perumahan Kerajaan atau berpindah rumah atas keadaan di luar kawalan tanpa tertakluk kepada syarat berpindah rumah dalam stesen yang sama atau satu lingkungan kawasan 33 kilometer dari tempat bertugas sepertimana dinyatakan dalam Surat Pekeliling Perkhidmatan Bilangan 10 Tahun 1989 yang telah dibatalkan dalam surat ini. Keputusan ini berkuat kuasa mulai 1 Julai 2022. 9. Surat Edaran JPA.(S).800-1/1/13 (7) Penambahbaikan Bayaran Imbuhan Perumahan Khas Bagi menambah baik peraturan sedia ada berkaitan Rumah Kerajaan dan selaras dengan hasrat Kerajaan untuk memberi perhatian dalam aspek kebajikan dan kesejahteraan pegawai perkhidmatan awam, Kerajaan telah bersetuju supaya syarat “tidak menyewakan rumah sendiri” dimansuhkan. Keputusan ini juga sebagai usaha supaya rakyat termasuk pegawai perkhidmatan awam memiliki rumah sendiri. Pemansuhan syarat “tidak menyewakan rumah sendiri” adalah berkuat kuasa mulai 1 Julai 2022. 10. Surat Edaran JPA(S)63/75 Jld 7 (12) Penambahbaikan Portfolio Warden Asrama Di Sekolah-Sekolah Kementerian Pendidikan Malaysia Kerajaan telah bersetuju meluluskan kenaikan 25% kadar Elaun Warden Asrama (EWA) bagi Warden Asrama. Kadar baharu EWA adalah RM350.00 bagi Ketua Warden Asrama dan RM300.00 bagi Warden Asrama. Kenaikan kadar baharu EWA adalah mengambil kira tanggungjawab tambahan dan selaras dengan penambahbaikan norma baharu Warden Asrama serta pelaksanaan sistem penggiliran tugas Warden Asrama.
