Surat Edaran JPA.SARAAN (S) 43/35 Jld.12 (8) Penambahbaikan Kemudahan Cuti Kuarantin Bagi menambah baik peraturan sedia ada selaras dengan hasrat Kerajaan untuk memberi perhatian dalam aspek kebajikan pegawai perkhidmatan awam dan dalam masa yang sama perlu meningkatkan kualiti, produktiviti dan penyampaian perkhidmatan, Kerajaan bersetuju supaya Kemudahan Cuti Kuarantin ditambah baik seperti berikut: i. Nama Kemudahan Cuti Kuarantin dipinda kepada “Kemudahan Cuti Menjaga Anak Yang Dikuarantin atau Memerlukan Pengasingan”; ii. Penambahan jenis penyakit berjangkit lain; Senarai jenis penyakit berjangkit adalah sepertimana terkandung dalam Lampiran SR.5.4.4(A) iaitu enam (6) jenis penyakit berjangkit dengan penambahan lain-lain penyakit berjangkit yang diperakukan oleh Pegawai Perubatan Kerajaan atau swasta; dan iii. Kadar tempoh cuti (bilangan hari) a) kadar tempoh cuti/bilangan hari cuti dikekalkan maksimum lima (5) hari bagi setiap kes atau selama tempoh perakuan yang diberikan oleh mana-mana Pegawai Perubatan Kerajaan atau swasta mengikut mana yang lebih rendah dengan pindaan termasuk Hari Rehat Mingguan, Hari Kelepasan Mingguan dan Hari Kelepasan Am; dan b) pegawai yang memerlukan tempoh tambahan boleh memohon Cuti Rehat/ Cuti Rehat Khas atau cuti-cuti lain yang berkelayakan. Selain itu, apabila keadaan seseorang pegawai adalah mengizinkan dan berupaya melaksanakan tugasan di rumah, Ketua Jabatan boleh mempertimbangkan Bekerja Dari Rumah (BDR) sepertimana peruntukan MyPPSM Ceraian SR.4.1.2 (Dasar BDR). Penambahbaikan peraturan ini dilaksanakan melalui MyPPSM Ceraian SR.5.4.4 (Kemudahan Cuti Menjaga Anak Yang Dikuarantin atau Memerlukan Pengasingan) dan berkuat kuasa mulai 4 Mac 2022. 4. Circular Letter PSD.SARAAN(S)43/35 Vol.12 (8) - Amendment to Quarantine Leave Facilities In line with the government's intention to provide care in the aspect of civil service employee welfare and, at the same time, enhance the quality, productivity, and service delivery, the government has agreed to improve the Quarantine Leave facilities as follows: i. The name of the Quarantine Leave Facility is amended to "Leave Facility for Taking Care of Children Who Are Quarantined or Need Isolation"; ii. Addition of other infectious diseases; The list of infectious diseases is as contained in Attachment SR.5.4.4(A), which includes six (6) types of infectious diseases, with the addition of other infectious diseases certified by a Government or private Medical Officer. iii. The duration of leave (number of days) a) the leave duration/number of leave days is maintained at a maximum of five (5) days per case or for the period certified by any Government or private Medical Officer, whichever is lower, with amendments including Weekly Off Days, Weekly Holidays and General Public Holidays; b) employees requiring additional time off can apply for Annual Leave/Special Leave or other eligible types of leave. Furthermore, when an employee's circumstances permit and they are capable of performing tasks from home, Division Heads may consider Work From Home (WFH) in accordance with the provisions of MyPPSM Attachment SR.4.1.2 (WFH Policy).
