PRE-SERVICE TRAINING
Program pendaftaran pelajar ini dijalankan di
kolej-kolej persediaan yang terpilih di seluruh
negara. Pelajar-pelajar di bawah program
penajaan ke luar negara perlu mengikuti
kursus persediaan di kolej-kolej tersebut untuk
tempoh yang telah ditetapkan sebelum mereka
meneruskan peringkat pengajian yang lebih
tinggi di luar negara.
Selain itu, program ini juga dijadikan platform
kepada JPA untuk menyalurkan maklumat-
maklumat secara terperinci seperti struktur
program penajaan dan pengajian, elaun dan
kemudahan serta peraturan-peraturan yang perlu
dipatuhi oleh pelajar-pelajar tajaan JPA. Taklimat
ini juga dihadiri oleh ibu bapa bagi memastikan
ibu bapa pelajar mengambil perhatian ke atas
perkara-perkara penting seperti peraturan yang
perlu dipatuhi oleh pelajar, terutamanya Had
Kelayakan Akademik yang perlu dicapai oleh
pelajar bagi melayakkan mereka untuk terus
ditaja ke luar negara.
Bagi tahun 2017, enam (6) program pendaftaran
telah dijalankan. Program pendaftaran yang
dilaksanakan pada tahun ini dilaksanakan
mengikut Program Penajaan dan bukannya
mengikut pendaftaran kolej seperti tahun-tahun
yang sebelumnya.
The student registration programme was
conducted at selected preparatory colleges
nationwide. Students under the overseas
sponsorship program are expected to attend
preparatory courses at the selected preparatory
colleges for a predetermined period before
they continue to pursue their higher education
overseas.
Additionally, the programme also serves as
a platform for JPA to disseminate detailed
information such as on the structure of the
sponsorship and study programmes, allowances,
facilities and regulations that JPA-sponsored
students to comply. The briefing shall also be
attended by parents to ensure that parents are
aware of important matters such as the rules
that the students must comply to, especially the
Academic Qualification Limits that students must
meet to qualify them to continue to be sponsored
abroad.
For the year 2017, six registration programmes
were conducted. This year, the registration
programmes were implemented according to the
students’ Sponsorship Program and not by college
registration as in previous years.
