Pada 16 November 2021, Jabatan Perkhidmatan Awam ( JPA) dengan kerjasama Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) telah mengadakan Majlis Pelancaran Buku Koleksi Teks Ucapan & Coffee Table KPPA dan Sesi Town Hall bersama-sama Warga Universiti Awam (UA) dan Pelajar-Pelajar Tajaan JPA. Pada majlis tersebut, Duli Yang Maha Mulia Yang di-Pertuan Besar Negeri Sembilan Darul Khusus, Tuanku Muhriz Ibni Almarhum Tuanku Munawir, Canselor UKM telah berkenan berangkat mencemar duli hadir ke Majlis Pelancaran Buku Koleksi Teks Ucapan & Coffee Table KPPA yang berlangsung di Dewan Canselor Tun Abdul Razak, UKM, Bangi. Buku koleksi teks ucapan KPPA yang diterbitkan oleh Institut Tadbiran Awam Negara (INTAN) menghimpunkan teks-teks ucapan Mohd Khairul Adib dalam majlis utama yang dihadiri. Manakala Buku Coffee Table KPPA terbitan Unit Komunikasi Korporat, Jabatan Perkhidmatan Awam ( JPA) pula menghimpunkan gambar YBhg. Tan Sri KPPA di majlis-majlis rasmi, program turun padang bersama-sama kumpulan sasar, pemegang taruh JPA serta mengandungi keratan akhbar beliau berkaitan isu dalam perkhidmatan awam. Baginda turut berkenan mengurniakan Anugerah Tokoh Alumni Tersohor UKM kepada YBhg. Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Mohd Khairul Adib Abd Rahman, Ketua Pengarah Perkhidmatan Awam (KPPA) atas pengiktirafan terhadap sumbangan dan pencapaian cemerlang beliau dalam Perkhidmatan Awam di Malaysia dan UKM khususnya. Tan Sri KPPAmerupakan alumni kepada UKMyang telah menamatkan pengajian dalam bidang Sains pada tahun 1985. Pada sesi kedua, majlis diteruskan dengan Sesi Town Hall KPPA bersama-sama Warga Universiti Awam dan Pelajar-Pelajar Tajaan JPA yang bertemakan ‘Bangsa Berilmu, Semarak Aspirasi Negara’. KPPA berkongsi pelbagai perkara berkaitan dasar-dasar Kerajaan dan juga pandangan beliau dalam aspek Perkhidmatan Awam bagi mendepani cabaran semasa dan akan datang di sesi Town Hall ini. Beliau turut menyantuni pelbagai pandangan daripada para peserta yang turut hadir secara hibrid menerusi sesi soal jawab bagi memastikan maklumat dapat disampaikan dengan jelas, di samping memberi kefahaman tentang persoalan yang dibangkitkan supaya mereka mampu menyampaikan maklumat yang tepat dan benar kepada pihak-pihak lain dengan sebaik mungkin pada masa hadapan. At the event, His Royal Highness the Yang di-Pertuan Besar Negeri Sembilan Darul Khusus, Tuanku Muhriz Ibni Almarhum Tuanku Munawir, the Chancellor of UKM, attended the KPPA Collection of Speech Texts & Coffee Table book launching ceremony which took place at the Chancellor Tun Abdul Razak Hall in UKM, Bangi. The KPPA Speech Texts Collection published by the National Institute of Public Administration (INTAN) is a compilation of Mohd Khairul Adib’s speeches in the main events he attended. The KPPA Coffee Table book, published by the Corporate Communications Unit, Public Service Department (PSD), is a compilation of images of the YBhg. Tan Sri KPPA at official functions, field programmes with target groups, PSD stakeholders and paper cuttings on issues related to public service. His Majesty also granted UKM Distinguished Alumni Award to YBhg. Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Mohd Khairul Adib Abd Rahman, the Director General of the Public Service (KPPA), in recognition of his contribution and outstanding achievements in the Public Service in Malaysia, particularly in UKM. Tan Sri KPPA is an alumnus of UKM who graduated in the field of Science in 1985. The second session of the ceremony continued with the KPPA town hall session with the theme ‘Knowledgeable Nation, Vibrant National Aspirations’ with officers of the public universities and PSD-sponsored students. KPPA shared information on various issues related to Government policies and his views on facing current and future challenges concerning Public Service. He also welcomed views from participants who attended the session in a hybrid mode during the question-and-answer session to ensure that information was conveyed clearly and that they understood the issues raised. This will help ensure that participants give accurate and correct information to other parties in the future. It is hoped that the programme will have a significant impact on all members of the Public Service and achieve its objectives through the presence of students from public universities in Malaysia and PSD sponsored students who are undergoing in-service training, in particular so that they can collaborate to spearhead the Public Service institution and be at the forefront and become a pillar in the country’s administration. The programme was also broadcast live through JPA’s Facebook page and the Zoom application with the presence of 600 guests. Also present at the ceremony were YB.
