Respondents also stated that KPI management influenced KPI implementation. Good KPI management will ensure that KPIs can be implemented orderly. In addition, respondents also said that KPI management is not related to KPI achievement as other factors also influence it. Based on the analysis conducted, four (4) main factors of KPI management were identified: system, commitment, understanding, and structure, as shown in Figure 1. The four KPI management factors that had been identified need to be prioritised as they had a direct effect on KPI management. Apart from these KPI management factors, respondents also highlighted issues in KPI management. Among them are as follows: Understanding the KPI concept; Data quality; KPI management structure; and Cooperation in KPI management. To ensure that KPI management is strengthened, respondents also put forward suggestions for improvement as follows: The KPI management method needs to be more systematic; The setting and development of KPIs need to be focused and specific; Communication and relationships need to be improved; and MyKPI system is strengthened. Responden turut menyatakan bahawa pengurusan KPI telah mempengaruhi pelaksanaan KPI. Pengurusan KPI yang baik akan memastikan KPI dapat dilaksana dengan teratur. Selain itu, responden turut menyatakan bahawa pengurusan KPI tidak berkait dengan pencapaian KPI kerana ia turut dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor lain. Berdasarkan analisis yang telah dijalankan, empat (4) faktor utama pengurusan KPI telah dikenalpasti iaitu sistem, komitmen, pemahaman dan struktur seperti di Rajah 1. Keempat-empat faktor pengurusan KPI yang telah dikenalpasti perlu diberi perhatian kerana ia mempengaruhi pengurusan KPI secara langsung. Selain daripada faktor pengurusan KPI, responden juga telah menyatakan isu-isu dalam pengurusan KPI. Antaranya adalah seperti berikut: Pemahaman konsep KPI; Kualiti data; Struktur pengurusan KPI; dan Kerjasama dalam pengurusan KPI. Bagi memastikan pengurusan KPI diperkukuh, responden turut mengemukakan cadangan penambahbaikan seperti berikut: Kaedah pengurusan KPI perlu lebih sistematik; Penetapan serta pembangunan KPI perlu fokus dan spesifik; Komunikasi serta hubungan dipertingkatkan; dan Sistem MyKPI dimantapkan.
