1-108 Termination by the Government 8. If the Officer at any time neglects or refuses or from any cause other than the cause specified in Clause 7 hereof fails to comply with any order given by a duly authorised Government officer or discloses any information respecting the affairs of the Government to any unauthorised persons or in any manner misconducts himself the Government may dismiss him and upon such dismissal all rights and advantages reserved to the Officer under this Agreement shall forthwith be terminated. 9. The Government may at any time terminate this Agreement by giving written notice as provided in the schedule or upon paying the officer one month’s salary in lieu of notice without assigning any reasons thereto. Termination by the Officer 10. The Officer may at any time terminate his service by giving the Government notice in writing as provided in the Schedule hereto or upon paying the Government one month’s salary in lieu of such notice. Schedule 11. In addition to the conditions hereinafter set out in the Schedule hereto shall form part of this Agreement. The Application of the Law 12. This Agreement shall be interpreted according to Malaysian laws. Costs And Expenses 13. All costs and expenses incurred, including stamp duty, in order to complete this Agreement, shall be borne by the Officer.
