INSPEKTORAT BAYARAN INSENTIF MENYELAM DI JABATAN PERIKANAN MALAYSIA INSPECTORATE OF DIVING INCENTIVE PAYMENTS AT THE MALAYSIAN FISHERIES DEPARTMENT Inspektorat Bayaran Insentif Menyelam (BIM) di Jabatan Perikanan Malaysia (DOF) telah diadakan pada 2 April hingga 4 April 2021 di Pulau Perhentian, Terengganu. Inspektorat ini dijalankan bagi meneliti kerelevanan pemberian BIM di agensi-agensi khusus seperti DOF, sama ada pemberiannya masih menepati syarat dan kriteria pemberian elaun serta memenuhi keperluan semasa sumber manusia. Hasil inspektorat ini juga dijadikan input kepada Kajian Rasionalisasi Elaun Perkhidmatan Awam yang sedang dijalankan oleh Bahagian Saraan. Sesi inspektorat ini turut dihadiri oleh wakil Kementerian Pertanian dan Industri Makanan (MAFI) dan wakil Jabatan Taman Laut. It was conducted to examine the relevance of BIM provision in specific agencies such as DOF to determine if it still meets the requirements and criteria for granting allowances and fulfils the current human resources needs. The inspectorate’s findings also serve as inputs to the Public Service Allowance Rationalisation Study, which the Remuneration Division is currently carrying out. The inspectorate session was also attended by representatives from the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industries (MAFI) and the Marine Park Department. (67)
