Bahagian Penyelidikan, Perancangan dan Dasar (BPPD) telah mengadakan Kursus Data Storytelling pada 11 dan 12 Oktober 2021 secara dalam talian. Kursus tersebut telah dilaksanakan oleh The Center of Applied Data Science (CADS). Seramai 18 orang warga BPPD telah menghadiri kursus tersebut. Dalam menggalas visi JPA “Perkhidmatan awam berprestasi tinggi, berintegriti, dinamik dan berjiwa rakyat”, prinsip serta semangat profesionalisme yang tinggi dalam melaksanakan apa jua tugas dan tanggungjawab yang telah diamanahkan adalah sangat dituntut dan perlu disemai dalam setiap sanubari pegawai. Kursus memberi pendedahan kepada peserta untuk memacu perubahan melalui komunikasi cerapan data yang berkesan. Objektif kursus adalah seperti berikut : Memberi pendedahan kepada pegawai berkaitan dengan analisis dan pengolahan data secara efektif; Meningkatkan kompetensi pegawai berkaitan dengan kepentingan data visualization dan teknik data articulation secara naratif dan visual; Learn data science process: Acquire, wrangle, analyse, model, visualize, share; Apply the data science technique and use case; dan Know the tools used in Data Science. The Research, Planning, and Policy Division (BPPD) held an online Data Storytelling Course from 11 to 12 October 2021. The course, implemented by the Centre of Applied Data Science (CADS), was attended by 18 BPPD officers. In carrying out PSD’s vision of “A Public Service of High Performance, integrity, dynamic and people-oriented”, having strong principles and a high professional spirit in carrying out any tasks and responsibilities entrusted are highly demanded and need to be instilled in every employee. The course exposed participants to spearhead change through effective communication of observed data.
