VIRTUAL JPA-STAR CONTRACT BRIEFING AND ONLINE CAREER FAIR VIRTUAL JPA-STAR CONTRACT BRIEFING AND ONLINE CAREER FAIR Program Virtual JPA-STAR Contract Briefing and Online Career Fair ini dianjurkan khusus untuk mengumpulkan pelajar tajaan JPA yang telah dan akan bergraduat di luar negara pada tahun 2020. Program ini merupakan usaha kolaboratif strategik antara pihak JPA, TalentCorp dan pemain industri dalam negara di bawah inisiatif Program STAR bagi mengekalkan bakat terbaik di dalam negara. Program ini diadakan bertujuan untuk: a. Memberi pendedahan kepada graduan mengenai obligasi kontrak. b. Memberi pendedahan berkenaan peluang kerjaya dalam negara. c. Membina jaringan di antara graduan dan sektor industri dalam negara bagi meningkatkan kebolehpasaran graduan. The JPA-STAR Contract Briefing and Online Career Fair Virtual Programme were explicitly organized to gather PSD-sponsored students who graduated and will graduate abroad in 2020. This programme was a strategic collaborative effort between the PSD, TalentCorp and industry players under the STAR initiative programme to retain the best talent in the country. This programme was held to: a. Provide exposure to graduates on contractual obligations. b. Provide exposure to career opportunities in the country. c. Build a network between graduates and the industrial sectors in the country to increase the marketability of graduates. Program Virtual JPA-STAR Contract Briefing and Online Career Fair yang berlangsung pada 7 hingga 9 September 2020 telah dilaksanakan secara maya buat pertama kalinya susulan penularan wabak COVID-19 dan pelaksanaan Perintah Kawalan Pergerakan Pemulihan. Program yang diadakan melalui kaedah sesi webinar selama tiga hari ini telah menarik seramai 1,443 orang pelajar yang telah dan akan bergraduat serta 32 buah syarikat yang menawarkan sebanyak 279 peluang pekerjaan di syarikat masing-masing. YBhg. Tan Sri Mohd Khairul Adib bin Abd Rahman, Ketua Pengarah Perkhidmatan Awam (KPPA) telah menghadiri program berkenaan dengan diiringi oleh YBhg. Dato’ Dr. Zulkapli bin Mohamed, Pengarah Bahagian Pembangunan Modal Insan bagi meninjau perjalanan program serta menyampaikan amanat beliau kepada peserta-peserta program. The JPA-STAR Contract Briefing and Online Career Fair Virtual Programme, which took place from 7th to 9th September 2020, were implemented virtually for the first time following the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic and the implementation of Recovery Movement Control Order. The programme, which was conducted through a three-day webinar session, attracted 1,443 students who graduated and will graduate and 32 companies that offered a total of 279 job opportunities in their respective companies. YBhg. Tan Sri Mohd Khairul Adib bin Abd Rahman, Director General of Public Service (DGPS), attended the programme accompanied by YBhg.
