Panel ketiga berkongsi mengenai harapan rakyat agar pemimpin politik dapat mengetepikan agenda politik masing-masing dan mengutamakan kepentingan rakyat ketika membahas dan meluluskan Belanjawan 2021. Manakala panel keempat berkongsi senario di mana sebelum pandemik melanda, sektor industri sedang melangkah masuk ke era Revolusi Perindustrian 4.0 (IR4.0). Bagaimanapun, pandemik Covid-19 telah mempercepatkan penyertaan industri ke era IR4.0. Sektor industri telah mengutarakan konsep ‘FIRST’ untuk perhatian Kerajaan iaitu: • Funding and incentives - menyediakan peruntukan dan insentif untuk meningkatkan daya saing syarikat di peringkat global; • Infrastructure - menyediakan infrastruktur yang baik bagi pengendalian perniagaan yang lebih berkesan; • Regulatory and policy - merangka peraturan dan polisi yang berkesan; • Skill and talent - menyediakan tenaga kerja yang berkemahiran dan berbakat dalam pelbagai bidang; dan • Technology and innovation - memperkukuhkan penggunaan teknologi dan inovasi. Beliau berpandangan bahawa semua peranan ini telah diambil kira di dalam Belanjawan 2021, namun tidak dinyatakan secara relatif. The third panel discussed the citizen’s hope that political leaders can set aside their political agendas and prioritize the people’s interests when debating and approving the 2021 Budget. While the fourth panel shared a scenario before the pandemic hit in which the industrial sector was ready to enter the era of Industrial Revolution 4.0 (IR4.0). However, the Covid-19 pandemic has accelerated industry participation into the IR4.0 era. The industry sector has put forward the concept of ‘FIRST’ for the Government’s attention, namely: • Funding and incentives - provide allocations and incentives to enhance the company’s global competitiveness; • Infrastructure - provides good infrastructure for more effective business operation; • Regulatory and policy - formulate effective rules and policies; • Skill and talent - provide a skilled and talented workforce in various fields; and • Technology and innovation - strengthen the use of technology and innovation. The panellist thought that all these roles had been taken into account in the 2021 Budget. However, they are not stated relatively yet.
