Datuk Mohd Khairul Adib bin Abd Rahman sebagai Ketua Pengarah Perkhidmatan Awam (KPPA) Malaysia yang baharu berkuatkuasa pada 1 Oktober 2019 bagi menggantikan YBhg. Tan Sri Borhan bin Dolah yang telah bersara wajib pada 9 September 2019 yang lalu. Surat pelantikan jawatan KPPA yang ke-24 telah disampaikan oleh Ketua Setiausaha Negara, YBhg. Tan Sri Dr. Ismail bin Hj. Bakar. The Office of the Chief Secretary of the Government has made an official statement regarding the appointment of YBhg. Datuk Mohd Khairul Adib bin Abd Rahman as the new Director General of Public Service (KPPA) Malaysia effective October 1, 2019 to replace YBhg. Tan Sri Borhan bin Dolah who retired on 9 September 2019. The letter of appointment of the 24th KPPA was handed by the Secretary General of the Government, YBhg. Tan Sri Dr. Ismail bin Hj. Bakar. Beliau menjawat jawatan selaku Ketua Setiausaha Kementerian Pengangkutan sebelum beliau dilantik sebagai KPPA. YBhg. Datuk Mohd Khairul Adib bin Abd Rahman yang berumur 57 tahun mempunyai kelulusan Ijazah Sarjana Muda Sains dari Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) dan Ijazah Sarjana Sains Polisi dari Saitama University, Jepun. Beliau telah berkhidmat dalam perkhidmatan awam selama lebih 31 tahun apabila mula menyertai perkhidmatan Pegawai Tadbir dan Diplomatik pada 12 Januari 1988. Serving as the Secretary General of the Ministry of Transport before being appointed as KPPA, 57-year-old YBhg. Datuk Khairul Adib bin Abd Rahman holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the National University of Malaysia (UKM) and a Master of Policy Science degree from Saitama University, Japan. He has served in the public service for more than 31 years when he joined the Diplomatic and Administration Service on January 12, 1988. Beliau berpengetahuan luas dalam bidang pengurusan dan perkhidmatan awam serta pernah berkhidmat sebagai Timbalan Ketua Setiausaha di Kementerian Pengangkutan, Setiausaha Bahagian di Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kementerian Sains, Teknologi dan Inovasi. Beliau pernah berkhidmat di Kementerian Sumber Asli dan Alam Sekitar (sekarang Kementerian Tenaga dan Sumber Asli) dan bertugas sebagai Penasihat Pendidikan dan Latihan JPA di Tokyo, Jepun dan London, United Kingdom. He has extensive knowledge in the areas of management and public service and has served as Deputy Secretary General in the Ministry of Transport, Division Secretary in the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (now known as the Ministry of Energy, Science, Technology, Environment and Climate Change). He previously served in the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (now the Ministry of Water, Land and Natural Resources) and served as JPA’s Education and Training Advisor in Tokyo, Japan and London, United Kingdom. Ketibaan YBhg. Datuk Mohd Khairul Adib bin Abd Rahman di Jabatan Perkhidmatan Awam pada 8 Oktober 2019 telah disambut dengan perbarisan tabik hormat selamat datang oleh Polis Bantuan JPA, bacaan doa dan seterusnya beliau bersalaman dengan semua barisan Pengurusan Tertinggi JPA sebelum ke aras 13 bagi mendengar taklimat korporat JPA. The arrival YBhg. Datuk Mohd Khairul Adib bin Abd Rahman at the Public Service Department on October 8, 2019 was greeted with a welcoming parade and salute by JPA’s Auxillary Police, doa recitation and he took the opportunity to greet fellow JPA Top Management members before heading to level 13 be briefed. Seluruh warga JPA ingin mengucapkan sekalung tahniah di atas lantikan YBhg. Datuk Mohd Khairul Adib bin Abd Rahman selaku KPPA yang baharu dan berharap agar JPA terus maju dibawah teraju dan kepimpinan beliau pada masa akan datang.
