jpa2019 | 37 Dasar Pembangunan Sumber Manusia Perkhidmatan Awam (DPSM) Public Service Human Resource Development Policy JPA telah menerajui usaha untuk mewujudkan Dasar Pembangunan Sumber Manusia Perkhidmatan Awam (DPSM). Ia digubal bertujuan untuk membentuk pegawai perkhidmatan awam yang berfikiran aras tinggi dan ke hadapan , tangkas , berkemahiran digital (digital capabilities) serta kreatif dan berupaya berfikir di luar kotak, berteraskan nilai-nilai murni dan profesionalisme demi kepentingan negara dan organisasi serta kemajuan kerjaya pegawai awam. JPA has spearheaded efforts to establish the Public Service Human Resource Development (DPSM) Policy. It is designed to create a public service with High Order Thinking Skills and future-thinking, agile, capable digitally as well as creative and capable of out-of-the-box thinking, centered on pure values and professionalism in the best interest of the nation and the organisation as well as career advancement of civil servants. Oleh itu, DPSM membolehkan setiap pegawai awam melengkapkan diri dengan kompetensi dan pengalaman yang diperlukan untuk melaksanakan tugas dan tanggungjawab semasa dan di masa hadapan supaya perkhidmatan awam kekal relevan dan berdaya saing. Selain itu, integriti dan keutuhan perkhidmatan awam turut diharap akan bertambah mantap memandangkan aspek pembangunan nilai-nilai murni dan profesionalisme terus diperkukuhkan dalam DPSM. Therefore, DPSM enables each public officer to equip himself with the competencies and experiences needed to perform current and future tasks and responsibilities in order for the public service to remain relevant and competitive.
