JPA | 93 Through the KPPA Meet-and- Greet Reception Program with Kedah Government Pensioner’s Association Retirees under the #AssistingPensioner Program on 25 to 26 November 2018, YBhg. Datuk Seri Borhan bin Dolah made a calling for the retirees association to play an active part in fostering good relationships between the Government and the Government’s retirees. He stated that Public Service Department (PSD) would always provide assistance and support to these associations to ensure the welfare of pensioners whom had graciously served the countries for many years are well taken care of. At this time, JPA together with associations of pensioners frequently held on ‘turun padang’ programs to share policies and current issues relating to pensioners’ affairs which is being implemented and has undergone improvenments by Government for the Pensioners’ well- being. Conducting programs such as these also celebrate and acknowledge the pensioners that had set an example and becomes an inspiration among other pensioners. At the program sessions, YBhg. Datuk Seri Borhan bin Dolah presented medical equipment assistance such as wheelchairs to several pensioners who were sick. The program also involved Retirement Fund (Incorporated) (KWAP), Langkawi Development Authority (LADA) , Kedah Government’s Pensioner Association (PPKM), Langkawi District Office, Pejabat Pengurusan Zakat Daerah Langkawi and also Pejabat Kebajikan Masyarakat Daerah Langkawi. YBhg. Datuk Seri Borhan bin Dolah also reminded civil servants and pensioners to consistently upheld the reputation of public service from time to time in the hope that they will always be well-liked by the society and provided a positive perception among the people throughout the nation. menziarahi pesara uzur serta pesara yang mengusahakan perniagaan motel dan homestay di Langkawi. Pada sesi program tersebut, beliau telah menyampaikan sumbangan bantuan peralatan perubatan seperti kerusi roda kepada beberapa pesara yang uzur. Program ini turut melibatkan Kumpulan Wang Persaraan (Diperbadankan) [KWAP], Lembaga Pembangunan Langkawi (LADA), Persatuan Pesara Kerajaan Negeri Kedah (PPKM), Pejabat Daerah Langkawi, Pejabat Pengurusan Zakat Daerah Langkawi dan juga Pejabat Kebajikan Masyarakat Daerah Langkawi. Pada masa sama juga, beliau turut mengingatkan agar penjawat awam dan pesara-pesara kerajaan agar dapat menjaga nama baik perkhidmatan awam dari semasa ke semasa supaya sentiasa disenangi oleh anggota masyarakat dan memberikan persepsi yang positif di kalangan rakyat secara keseluruhannya.
