JPA | 52 National Institute of Public Admin (INTAN) in conjuction with the Department of Developing Human Capital (BMI), The Public Service Department (JPA) organizing the Research Colloqium 2018 (RC 2018) on Thursday, 21 September 2018 at Auditorium, INTAN Bukit Kiara. This colloqium is an annual event by INTAN and this is the second year that it has been held. A total of 450 participants which includes officers from Federal Department Ministry, non-profit organization and higher education institutions. The participants from this programme are former officers who receive awards (HLP) for furthering their studies in Master Degree and Philosophy Doctorate (Ph.D) in local or foreign universities, from The Public Service Department (JPA) and currently working at their ministry and each department respectively. The objective of the RC 2018 are: 1. To create a platform of sharing knowledge in research that has been conducted by the scholar (HLP) in Master Degree and Philosophy Doctorate (Ph.D) 2. To identify the research outcomes which has implications towards improving the governments foundation 3. To identify the research which is convenient to published. This is a forum for HLP scholar who have succesfully ended their Master’s Degree and Philosophy Doctorate (Ph.D) to present their research. Apart from that, this programme is an opportunity to gain new knowledge from the research outcomes by government officers as well as appreciating the importance of research onduced by the government officers. Furthermore, RC 2018 is a mechanism to ensure that research findings has an implicated in towards improving government foundation and implement it as input to enhance or produce effective service towards nations. In RC 2018, a total of 37 reseacrh papers have been presented by 23 HLP Master Degree scholars and 14 HLP Philosophy Doctorate (Ph.D) scholars, in a variety of fields. 8 sessions of presentation have been presented including 7 fields which are: I. International and Security; II. Public Administration Foundation and Technology Management III. Public Private Partnership and Acquisiton Management IV. Financial and Economic V. Human Resource VI. Land Management and Islamic Studies INTAN managed to come up with publication of including a collection of research papers which have been presented As an institution of training and learning for public sector, the role of INTAN as transformation an agent of in working culture in research to aspire knowledge. Therefore, through the colloqium research, guidance and discovery big potential research allow significant implications and will be featured through forum to involve the ministry and government agencies as it will implement and contribute to the nation.
