JPA | 114 The Council of Sports and Welfare for the Government members of the Federal Territory (MAKSWIP) is a club comprised of the Government Agencies Sports Clubs in Federal Territory (Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya dan Labuan). This year, MAKSWIP organised the MAKSWIP Integrated Sports Tournament 2018 from 14th to 16 December in Kangar, Perlis. There were 3 contested events held in this tournament which were the ‘9 Sebelah Football’ Men’s and Women’s Beach Volleyball and ‘5 in a Team Netball’. This tournament was further graced with the presence of Ybhg. Datuk Seri Borhan bin Dolah, Director-General of Public Service cum Yang Dipertua MAKSWIP with YB Dato’ Dr. Syed Omar Sharifuddin Syed Ikhsan, Negeri Perlis State Secretariat at the Opening Ceremony of the MAKSWIP Integrated Sports Tournament 2018 on 14 December 2018 held at Dewan Warisan, Kangar, Perlis. This tournament had involved 2,455 participants from the whole of Ahli Gabungan MAKSWIP. Highest appreciation and thanks to MAKSAK Negeri Perlis who had helped a lot in various aspects including in the preparation of the tournament venue that has made this tournament a reality. Not to be forgotten are the referees of the football, beach volleyball and netball matches as well comittee members who had had shown unwavering cooperation in ensuring the tournament went smoothly.
