JPA | 112 Public Service delivery system is moving towards a new landscape in line with the rapid globalisation change that directly sparks new hope from the people. At this moment BPMS is in the planning stage to develop new human resource management information system. To- Be is a Phase 2 research run by BPMS to collect, analyse data and create a new system. On 1 October and 2 October 2018 at Dewan Siantan 2, Kompleks Perbadanan Putrajaya, BPMS had organised the HRMIS User Group Workshop (HUGS) to obtain inputs and functions required in the new human resource management information system from Ministry representative, Departments, State Secretariats, Federal Statutory Bodies, State Statutory Bodies and Local Authorities. This two (2) day workshop applied the Design Thinking technique that emphasizes four main aspects which are empathy, cooperation, quick learning and visualisation. A total of 154 participants from HRMIS Human Resource Manager and Administrator were presence and actively involved in providing the activity held. This workshop which was colorful and held with enthusiam succeeded in peeling ideas relating to the users’ wishes towards the management of human resource by end-to-end without taking into account the existing HRMIS system. Participants were divided into 25 groups comprised of various agencies categories, departments and service scheme. Implementation Status (ImSTAT) Programme is an activity that is held to monitor the implementation of HRMIS in Ministries/agencies. The purpose of this program is to identify implementation issues and subsequently the improvements steps in the HRMIS implementation. For the year 2018, a total of 4 series of ImSTAT was held as follows: • Series 1 on 6 August 2018 with Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia; • Series 2 on 27 August 2018 with Kementerian Pertanian and Industri Asas Tani; • Series 3 on 23 October 2018 with Kementerian Industri Utama; • Series 4 on 2 November 2018 with Kementerian Tenaga, Sains, Teknologi, Alam Sekitar & Perubahan Iklim As an outcome of the implemention of this program, 62 issues in relation to HRMIS implementation have been resolved. This program has become an information sharing platform in helping to empower HRMIS implementation and in an indirect way would foster close relationship and cooperation between JPA and HRMIS administrator at the agency/Ministry level.
