Statutory and Local Authorities Pensions 25 to death or to any term of imprisonment by a court, such pension or other benefit shall cease forthwith. (2) The pension or other benefit under subsection (1) shall be restored with retrospective effect in the case of a person who after conviction receives a free pardon.
