For that reason, bold steps are necessary. Fake news negatively influences the public perception, and it must stop. In the attempt to fight fake news, the governments, businesses and civil society need to be together and accept greater responsibility and legal liability for the news they display. MCMC has faced various challenges particularly issues involving the cyber world, and the latest threat is the fake news. Although the threat is continuing to emerge, with existing experience, MCMC can accomplish this responsibility well. They can’t work solely, and it is time for the government to bring all stakeholders to the table and solves this issue collectively. The implementation of a new law on the fake news should be created to meet future challenges.
