412 Varia Ranah: Sorotan Ilmiah Perkhidmatan Awam period is between 5 and 8 years of service to qualify federal civil servants to apply for promotion within the organization. This is to enable employees to be more motivated to work effectively and to provide them with in-depth study of the organization's vision, mission and objectives before being promoted. Therefore, this study proposes that the service period for the purpose of consideration of promotion to federal civil servants should be implemented as a policy and policy in the future. The Public Service Department has implemented these policies and practices for the profession of medical personnel, pharmacy personnel and education services officers. This policy and practice should be extended to all federal civil servants in Malaysia in the future. This study was conducted on federal civil servant respondents in the Malaysian public sector. This study suggests that future studies can be conducted on public servants in the state public sector and local authorities. However, this study has contributed to the literature review in the field of PSM by expanding the contribution of empirical studies of PSM field in the Malaysian public sector. The findings of this study have also contributed to the improvement of business enhancement matters in the public sector to ensure satisfactory working conditions among federal civil servants in Malaysia. Workers who are satisfied with their work will enhance their potential and personal performance and, in turn, provide services to the people at a satisfactory level.
