The results of this study are in line with the findings obtained by (O'Donell and Sheilds, 2002; Aminudin et al., 2012).The results of this study show that public sector workers are satisfied with their work.The speed of promotion provided by their organizations is based on the length of service and seniority among federal civil servants in Malaysia.This also indicates that the organization's promotion board has performed well in accordance with the Appointment, Promotion and Termination of Service Regulations 2005 [P.U. (A) 176/2005] and Service Circular No. 7 of 2010 for the Guidance on Management and Promotion for Federal Public Service Officers under SSM.This also means that the press statement issued by the Secretary-General said that the promotion of some of the services schemes in the civil service was slow. Public servants are satisfied with the promotion system that organizations currently use. CONCLUSION This study is a case study aimed at exploring the relationship of the promotion system with the level of job satisfaction among federal civil servants in Malaysia. The results show that federal civil servants in Malaysia are satisfied with the promotion of promotion carried out within their respective organizations. In order to maintain the level of job satisfaction among federal employees in the future, this study suggests that the service period for promotion consideration should be modified to suit PSM's future environment and challenges in order to prevent public servants from being dissatisfied with the organization due to the grant too long a promotion in the future. The ideal Public servants are satisfied with the promotion system that organizations currently use
