The promotion boards of the Ministry of Education Malaysia and the Ministry of Education Malaysia have approved applications for consideration of promotion ranging from 2 years to 5 years according to each grade set. This study will examine whether differences in service time, job function and employment level for each service scheme in the Malaysian public service before considering the promotion of promotion will affect job satisfaction or vice versa. Judge, Bono, Thoresen, and Patton (2001) argue that studies of job satisfaction have been widely used in today's research world. However, ongoing research on job satisfaction is still important. This is due to PSM's environmental factors and issues. According to Spector, (1997) job satisfaction refers to the extent to which the individual likes their job.
