Officers, have qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience; iii. Officers, have the right personality for promotion, integrity and potential positions; and iv. The Promotion Board may consider other aspects that may be considered appropriate in the decision of promotion of an officer. d. Sub-regulation i. Where there is more than one officer eligible for consideration in the promotion, academic qualifications, work experience and seniority of an officer shall be considered in the promotion decision making process. Additional terms of the promotion policy in the federal public service are as follows: a. Officers are free from disciplinary action. b. Officers have declared the property. c.
