30 PENGESAHAN MULTIDIMENSI DAN UKURAN SOKONGAN ORGANISASI DALAM PERSPEKTIF KOMPLEKS PEKERJA- ORGANISASI KEMENTERIAN PERUMAHAN DAN KERAJAAN TEMPATAN Maemuna Abidin Nurrul Azwa Mohd Kassim Kementerian Perumahan dan Kerajaan Tempatan ABSTRACT Organizational Support Theory (OST) posits that employees develop a generalized perception of the extent to which their organization values their contributions and cares for their well-being, referred to as Perceived Organizational Support (POS). The purpose of this study is to create and validate an instrument grounded in OST to measure organizational support. Data was collected from 35 respondents, consisting of civil servants participating as Rakan Pembimbing Perkhidmatan Awam (AKRAB) within the Ministry of Housing and Local Government. An Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) was employed to assess the factor structure of the instrument. Reliability analysis indicated that all three factors achieved a Cronbach's alpha coefficient above 0.80, demonstrating high internal reliability. Overall, the instrument has proven to be both valid and reliable for measuring employees' perceptions of OST-based organizational support. The theoretical and practical implications of these findings are discussed to guide organizations in enhancing support for their employees, ultimately leading to improved work outcomes.
