With the spike of mental health cases in the organisational setting, government servants seemed to be exhibiting symptoms of depression, anxiety and stress or in general, showing a negative emotional state. However, many cases went unreported. Mental health stigma is one of the factors in hindering help seeking behaviour. Hence, the objective of this study is to assess the negative emotional state and mental health stigma. A total of 6255 government servants under the administration of Pejabat Setiausaha Kerajaan Negeri Perak (SUK Perak) were involved in the data collection process through convenient sampling. Depression, Anxiety and Stress Scale (DASS-21) and Perceived Devaluation Discrimination Scale (PDDS) were used as instruments to measure negative emotional state and mental health stigma. Data was analysed using Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) version 27. Pearson correlation was used to measure the correlation between depression, anxiety, stress and mental health stigma. One way ANOVA was used to determine whether there are statistically significant differences between the means of mental health stigma among the dimensions of depression, anxiety and stress. Results showed that there was a statistically negative correlation between depression, anxiety and stress. Mental health stigma among the three dimensions of depression, anxiety and stress also showed statistically significant differences across each level of normal, mild, moderate, severe and extremely severe.
